For the ppl in Austin/S.A. (and where ever there is a Whole Foods Market) did you know that the juice bar there uses apple juice in gallon glass bottles to make their frozen drinks? Do you know what they do with them when they are empty? They re-cycle them. On a whim I went there yesterday to get my wife a frozen drink to ease her sore throat, and noticed that they had an empty bottle.... to make a long story short... I walked out with 2 1 gallon jugs. Might be worth stopping in if you want to do gallon batches, and you are in the neighborhood. Also, they sell water in 5 gallon glass bottles. The water is $11 with a $6 deposit on the bottle. I am not sure what the going price for bottled water is now, but the way I look at this is that St Pats sells the carboys for about $15. For an extra $2 you can get it filled with water!! Not a bad deal I think. You might even be able to catch one on the return and pick it up for the $6 deposit. If you do... pick one up for me :)

This site is well structured and has competitive pricing

http://www.brewtique.com/
Not a very good site, but they have secure on-line credit card ordering for instant gratification, and not too bad pricing.

http://www.thebrewhut.com/
Featuring the most comprehensive home brew supply warehouse on the web! Excellent site, not too well organized, but very extensive with pictures of everything separate to keep the site moving fast. Uses frames. Secure (netscape) checkout. Check out their stainless steel 5 gallon mashing kit.

http://www.doublesprings.com/
Free shipping on all orders over $35.00. Except bulk grains, bulk extracts, and glass. On those items, only a small shipping charge will be added. Several types of honey at $2.00 lb Not a Fancy Catalogue, but as they say on their home page, they like to keep costs down to give you a better bargain. The prices are not too bad, and the free shipping may make this the best deal on the net, if you can get around their site.

This site has the worst colors I have seen in a while, and is really a bad place to look at. I couldn't get past the home page, but with a name like they have, I could not resist adding it to the list, just so some fun-loving scotsman could say they get their brewsupplies from the highlands.... :)

Very well organized site, a pleasure to look at and browse around, not too bad on the prices, but I have seen better. Not too bad on selection, but I have seen better. They have some things that I didn't see anywhere else, but overall.... I have seen better
